Accelerating Madison: Two Years of BRT Progress & What Comes Next
Join us on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the Warner Park Community Recreation Center in Madison for a WTS Lunch and Learn. Eligible for 0.5 PDH hours.
In 2026, the East-West Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) route (Rapid Route A) will achieve two years of operation, and the North-South BRT (Rapid Route B) will begin final design. Join us in a presentation by City of Madison Planner Liz Callin and AECOM Transit Engineer Michael Schneider in a recap of what has been accomplished, an update on current progress, and insight on what the future holds for BRT in the Madison area.
WTS Wisconsin 2026 All Members Meeting
Our 2026 all members meeting has been scheduled for Thursday April 30, 2026, 6-8 pm @ Hi Way Harry’s in Johnson Creek. Your attendance cost is covered with annual membership dues. Come have fun networking with WTS Wisconsin. Heavy appetizers and a drink ticket will be provided.

This year we are asking attendees to bring Something from Wisconsin to add to our golf outing raffle prizes. Maybe some New Glarus beers, Wollersheim wine, or gift certificates to your favorite Wisconsin shops or eateries? Anything helps! Last year, our golf outing was our biggest yet! Funds raised go to scholarships.

Members-Only March Madness Lunch Social
Members-only lunchtime social on Thursday, March 19th, 2026 to kick off the first round of March Madness.
The Madison area event was held at Monk's Bar & Grill in Middleton and the Milwaukee area event was held at Bullwinkles in Brookfield.
Driven by Design: I-41's Road to Green Bay. A WTS Lunch and Learn Event
Attendees heard from I-41 design team members Brian Genskow PE and Sara Brozovich PE who discussed the I-41/USH 441 System Interchange and project staging. Brian is a Project Manager at SRF Consulting Group and served as segment staging lead. Sara is a Roadway Design Engineer at Jacobs Engineering Group and served as a lead roadway engineer. This event included lunch, networking, a presentation, and time for questions.
Future Cities Event - Special Award Judging
WTS WI Volunteers learned about the exciting projects that middle school students from around the state have been preparing for the Future City Competition and helped award the WTS-sponsored award for “Greenest Transportation System”!
Welcome to the Flock! A WTS Welcome Event for Christof Spieler and Jamie Acton
WTS Wisconsin members welcomed Christof Spieler and Jamie Acton to leadership roles with the City of Madison. The event will included lunch, community-building, local trivia, and a moderated discussion with Christof and Jamie about their vision for local transportation.
Members enjoyed networking with agency partners.
Members-Only Social: Board and Brush Workshop - Madison
A fun, hands-on night out with WTS Wisconsin members! Events were hosted in Madison and Milwaukee, and members worked on a personalized project while connecting with our community.
Ronald McDonald House Meal Service
WTS members prepared a delicious meal of chili, cornbread, and broccoli salad, along with warm cinnamon rolls for families stay at the Ronald McDonald House in Madison. Food was provided by WTS and prepared in the RMHC commercial kitchen.
Craft Night for The Women’s Center
WTS members collected donations and created cards and posters with encouraging messages for clients and staff.
